Marketing Manager - East London

A global design and architecture practice seek an experienced Marketing Manager to lead marketing projects, the team and be a key source of knowledge & leadership for Marketing & Communications. The successful candidate will work closely with the Regional Marketing Director, to ensure the quality of the marketing team's efforts across the region is consistent.

Role & Responsibilities

- Communicate clearly and consistently with Business Development (BD) leaders, weekly BD meeting/reporting with senior staff
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the firm's portfolio, understand practice area capabilities & actively seek out firm's best practices
- Conduct internal and external research on new opportunities, prospective clients and practice areas
- Lead strategy/kick off meetings with BD champions
- Create pitch strategy/budget with BD champion including research, network mapping, tasks/milestones, reviews
- Research targets, internal relationships, company history, market position; ensures client or 3rd party Q&A and site visits
- Deliver pitch strategy throughout process, manages project close out
- Concept/write/design new material as needed to support marketing programs
- Manage daily workload/staffing for marketing team
- Seek out and implement process and content improvements; coaches peers on new ideas.

Required Skills & Experience

- A solid grounding of professional experience in a marketing position preferably for a design, property or professional services firm
- Experience managing significant marketing projects independently, working closely with senior staff on marketing programs and managing small employee teams
- An action-orientated team player with a relentlessly positive, flexible, "do whatever it takes" attitude
- Committed to internal client service
- Excellent communication, writing, conceptual design skills
- High level of competency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office
- Fantastic English, both written and oral
- Eligible to work in the UK.
