About the company and role:

My client has an urgent requirement for an Architect/ Project Architect to join their RIBA Chartered and Award-Winning practice based in Cardiff! Some of their work is inclusive of projects covering the Conservation, Education, Community, Leisure and Residential sectors however, previous experience in Conservation/ Historical Buildings or an interest in is desirable.

With this role you should have a minimum of 5 years post Part 3 qualification and have experienced managing projects on all RIBA stages start to finish. The ideal candidate will be ambitious and confident and possess and excellent design and technical portfolio.

Working as an Architect/ Project Architect you must:

• Be Part 3 RIBA qualified and have 5+ years post qualification.
• Have strong UK based experience of Building and Planning regulations.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written. Also fluent in English.
• A UK driving license and your own car would be desirable.
• Show strong detailed design and technical skills throughout your portfolio.
• Have worked on all RIBA stages and support/ lead projects from start to finish.

Working as an Architect/ Project Architect you will:

• Communicate with all members of your design team.
• Attending and manage site meetings and also to handle dealings with contractors.
• Assist junior team members and sometimes provide training and support.
• Be in charge of overseeing and running various projects.
• Complete projects using Vectorworks, Adobe and SketchUp so previous knowledge is desirable or a willingness to learn.

Cardiff, Swansea, Carmarthenshire, Port Talbot, Llanelli
