Exciting new opportunity for a Newly Qualified Architect to join a well-established practice!

About the company and role:

My client has an urgent requirement for a Newly Qualified Architect to join their RIBA Chartered and Award-Winning practice based in Cardiff! Some of their work is inclusive of projects covering the Conservation, Education, Community, Leisure and Residential sectors however, previous experience in Conservation/ Historical Buildings or an interest in is desirable.

With this role you should have a minimum of 2-3+ years in practice experience and have an excellent design and technical portfolio. The ideal candidate will have Vectorworks, Adobe and Sketchup knowledge or at least have a willingness to learn.

To be a Newly Qualified Architect you must:

• Be Part 3 qualified.
• Be eligible to work in the UK.
• Have 2-3+ years in practice experience and a full understanding of the UK building regs.
• Experience working on Conservation or Historical projects would be desirable.
• Have the initiative to work successfully as an individual but also able to work as a team.
• Have excellent communication skills both verbally and written.

Whilst working as a Newly Qualified Architect you will be:

• Liaising with other clients, contractors and other work professionals.
• Ensuring that all deadlines are met to a high standard of work.
• Work on a wide variety of projects and sectors.
• Be able to multi task and support more junior members on the team.
• Responsible for project management of projects and dealing with key clients.
