An established and successful conservation focussed architectural practice based North East of the Cotswolds, have an urgent requirement for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Our client is delivering a number of exciting projects throughout the Oxfordshire area and throughout the UK. You will get the chance to work across both the residential and commercial sectors as part of a small, but very friendly team.
There is excellent mentoring and guidance available to support you throughout your Part 3 studies and qualification.
Essential skills/ qualifications for this Part 2 Architectural Assistant role:
- Part 2 qualified and ideally you will already ideally have experience within a UK based practice
- Strong design skills in sensitive work to historic buildings and contemporary alterations
- Have strong knowledge of AutoCad and SketchUp
- Excellent hand sketching abilities
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A UK driving licence & ideally your own transport
To work as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant you will be:
- Working as part of a team, assisting on development of design proposals
- Assisting in the preparation of drawings, reports, visualisations, schedules and specifications
- Coordinating designs with other members of the team
