Want proof that you CAN earn the kind of money an Architect is worth? That you can get a top-notch benefits package, large annual bonus and some actual progression? All for the same job you're probably doing right now, but in a better-resourced environment with far more variety than you could dream of... I'd also be 99% certain the projects are more exciting than what you're used to right now too.

Yes, they pay more than probably almost any other practice in Manchester. Yes, they offer a really worthwhile package of benefits to all of their employees. Yes, they are well organised and can afford to resource their teams better than most. The problem is you probably won't be able to afford to leave in a few years time. Not financially and probably not professionally, nowhere else will look after you in this way.

But why would you want to leave, when you'll often feel awestruck by the projects you work on. You'll have less stress in your working life, probably your personal life too when you've got the comfort of a top-end salary, a large annual bonus, generous pension scheme and more. They pride themselves on the high quality in house and external CPD, it's all optional but constant.

They'll offer you exposure to a wide group of clients, suppliers, developers and even other practices. You'll be a well-networked professional in 12 months time. Again optional, but constant. It's all there for you to take advantage of as and when.

A new team is being put together... which you'll be a part of from day one. This is a team of people that won't get pigeon-holed into one sector. You'll spread across Education, Commercial, High Rise and more from project to project. This is a flexible, agile group of people that will float across the Manchester business getting to know everyone and getting involved in everything long term. This business works across 15 different sectors, projects tend to be anything from £15m - £500m, and you'll get cherry-picked for the toughest jobs.

You'll design, and solve design related problems, one project at a time. You'll run large packages on big jobs and possibly manage the smaller ones yourself, with a team of course. You'll be involved in all RIBA stages. Of course they use Revit and push the boundaries of BIM. You'll need to be intermediate.

The salary and package outlines how serious they are about attracting talented people. The surroundings, the training, the constant networking, an environment that says everybody's opinion matters and is listened too, the collaborative feel and the progression you'll see proves they're serious about keeping you happy too.

Imagine for some crazy reason you don't like it there. Even this practices name on your CV will tend to put your salary up by £5k, not that I see many CVs come out of them.

It's easy to get in touch with me via phone or email from our website, and there's also the apply button. All applications will be treated with total confidentiality.
