Job Details
Be part of the vision; be part of the RIBA.
The RIBA is a global professional membership body, and a cultural organisation, driving excellence in architecture.
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum
Location: RIBA London
Hours: 35 hours per week
This is an exciting time to join the RIBA as we focus on our International growth programme to increase membership overseas. Based in London but focusing on developing and managing our services in India you will have extensive knowledge of the opportunities and challenges in architecture and the wider built environment in India.
You will develop a network of architectural stakeholders (including institutes, practices and regulators) and represent the RIBA at events championing both the organisation and the role of architects. You will develop a programme of activities to support engagement, build the Institute’s profile and promote our values. You will also be accountable for creating and reporting on a suite of KPIs to ensure that we deliver both improved services and business objectives.
You will need a strong understanding and relevant experience of key drivers within architecture and business development and the ability to build relationships, influence, consult with and communicate to a variety of audiences whilst managing multiple workstreams sometimes to tight deadlines. The nature of this role means that cultural sensitivity, fluency in both English and Hindi, the ability to work flexibly and to travel frequently (UK and India) are all essential.
If this all sounds interesting and you’re up for the challenge – please send us your CV and covering letter, we’d love to hear from you!
Closing date: 24 November 2019
Interview date: Early December 2019
The RIBA is a progressive employer, committed to developing a diverse workforce. We encourage applications from all sections of society and welcome requests for flexible working across our organisation.
