Architectural Technician

Working mainly on high-end residential projects, you will have a genuine interest in design and deep knowledge of all aspects of construction. You will be working alongside architects and other members of the team, and be responsible for producing fully detailed packages of drawings to the highest standards. You will also have a role in supporting junior members of the team.

In addition, you should possess:

• 10 years post qualification experience
• Experience with new and historic buildings (experience with high-end residential work would be preferable)
• Experience in a senior role in a project team, or a proven ability to work independently
• Ability to resolve complex detailed design issues
• A portfolio of clear and well-presented drawings
• Superior communication and organisational skills
• Ability to write clear and concise specifications (knowledge of NBS specification software is desirable)
• Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of Building Regulations and other construction related legislation
• Ability to coordinate and manage the work of external consultants
• Excellent CAD skills (a high level of proficiency in Vectorworks is desirable)
