We are currently working with a RIBA chartered practice based in Kent, renowned for their commercial, residential, educational and master planning projects. In this role you will be working alongside the Architects to collate, organise, investigate and produce technical information for use during the development of the project design. The successful candidate will be capable of delivering a RIBA Stage 4 package comprising of detailed design and construction drawings 1:5 and 1:20 details.

In this role you will be only using Archicad for BIM design work, therefore proficiency and working experience in this software is required.

Requirement for this Architectural Technician/Technologist role:

• Be a member of CIAT (TCIAT) or be in the process of becoming a member (Senior mentor program with BIAT members).
• Undertake structured Continued Professional Development (CPD)
• Highly proficient in Archicad

Roles and responsibilities for this Architectural Technician/ Technologist role:

• Co-ordinate,develop and collate technical information
• Investigate manufacturers technical information and factors that affect projects, including Client requirements, site/buildingsurveys and regulatory
• Production of information necessary to submit Applications to relevant statutory
• Prepare and present design proposals using our BIM authoring software Training will be provided.

• Prepare specifications using NBS for construction
• Preparedrawings, plans and documents for statutory

Additional Duties for this Architectural Technician/ Technologist role make site visits and record findings of site inspections.
