Our client is a well known Chartered company based in Chelmsford specialising in design-led projects across the UK. These range from housing and commercial, education and mixed-use developments to urban regeneration and master planning.

Our Client is looking for an individual with strong and proven design ability with an emphasis on technical design. Be an organised team player with an ability to operate well under pressure, possess a thorough knowledge of UK Building Regulations and proven contract administration/site experience.

.Required Skills for this Architectural Technologist role:

• RIBA Chartership Architect (or desire for Chartership) Essential.
• Highly Experienced in AutoCAD, plus 3D modelling software such as Revit or ArchiCAD.
• Specification writing
• Contract Administration
• Post Qualification experience in a professional practice:
• Residential experience essential: experience of working closely with designs build contracts and housebuilding would be highly beneficial.

Roles and responsibilities for this Architectural Technologist role:

• Leading projects from inception to completion but with emphasis on RIBA Work Stages 4-6:

• Managing and coordinating a project team both in house staff and external consultant

• Forecasting and coordinating project resources and workflow

• Able to provide technical design packages, building regulation submissions, tender and contract documentation

• Leasing with clients to ensure delivery on time, to required budget and quality standards

• Providing on site technical support to clients and or contractors
