My client is looking for an Experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join a RIBA chartered practice working in a multitude of backgrounds, specialising in major residential schemes, housing, commercial and education.

With this role we would expect candidate will have:

Strong and proven design capability with an emphasis on technical design

Ability to work well under pressure

Possess key knowledge of UK Building regulations and proven contract administration/site

Required Skills for this Architectural Technologist role:

· RIBA Chartership Architect (or desire for Chartership) Essential.

· Highly Experienced in AutoCAD, plus 3D modelling software such as Revit or ArchiCAD.

· Specification writing

· Contract Administration

· Post Qualification experience in a professional practice:

· Residential experience essential: experience of working closely with designs build contracts and housebuilding would be highly beneficial.

Roles and responsibilities for this Architectural Technologist role:

· Leading projects from inception to completion but with emphasis on RIBA Work Stages 4-6:

· Managing and coordinating a project team both in house staff and external consultant

· Forecasting and coordinating project resources and workflow

· Able to provide technical design packages, building regulation submissions, tender and contract documentation

· Leasing with clients to ensure delivery on time, to required budget and quality standards

· Providing on site technical support to clients and or contractors
