PART I ARCHITECTURAL ASSISTANT & PROJECT ARCHITECT/ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN
An opportunity to join a small friendly architectural practice based near Bradford on Avon.
We are looking for a recently qualified Part I Architectural Assistant and Project Architect/ Architectural Technician with 2-3 years post-qualification experience to join our busy team on a permanent basis, starting as soon as possible. The right candidate will be a team player with a keen interest in historic buildings and conservation – they should have good design, presentation and communication skills as well as a good working knowledge of CAD and strong IT skills.
Chedburn Codd are a well-established conservation practice specialising in all types of works to historic buildings and the historic environment throughout the southwest of England and offer good career prospects in a growing business. As conservation architects, our work is principally concerned with the restoration, alteration and refurbishment of historic buildings, either in a full design/project management role or as consultants for projects requiring a conservation input.
Part I Architectural Assistant
The successful candidate will have design flair, be CAD literate (AutoCAD essential, SketchUp desirable) and demonstrate a keen interest in historic buildings and conservation.
Project Architect / Architectural Technician
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and client relationship skills, job running experience, strong technical and design skills, a good working knowledge of the planning processes, CDM and Building Regulations, be CAD literate (AutoCAD essential, SketchUp desirable) and be able to demonstrate a keen interest in historic buildings and conservation (IHBC/AABC/CIAT desirable).
