Excellent opportunity for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a practice based in Birmingham!

About the company and role:

My client is an award-winning and one of the largest and most successful multi-disciplinary design led practices in the UK. This practice covers a variety of exciting projects inclusive of the Commercial, Community, Education, Leisure, Mixed-Use, Residential and Student Accommodation sectors.

The software's used are AutoCAD, Adobe, ArchiCAD and Revit, so any previous experience in these would be highly advantageous. We also would require a candidate with a strong design flare and the ability to work hard under pressure both individually and as a team.

Skills required to be a Part 2 Architectural Assistant:

• Post Part 2-degree experience is desirable
• Previous experience in the preparation and submission of planning applications
• A full understanding of the UK planning and building regulations
• Excellent presentation skills and a strong design flare
• A good variety of software knowledge/ skills
• Initiative to work independently and as a team to a high standard
• Possess excellent communication skills both verbally and written

Whilst working as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant you will:

• Be able to work effectively within a team and be confident in liaising with clients, contractors and other professionals
• Ensure that all deadlines are met to an excellent standard
• Deal with the coordination of designs with other members of the team
• Preparing, drawing, visualisation, schedules and report
