Picture yourself doing what you do now. But as you sip your tea and look out of the window it's a white sandy beach and a clear blue sea you see instead of the pavement. You work and live in a tropical paradise that is 25 - 35 degrees celsius all year round and your office is within two minutes walking distance to the beach.

Barbados is 170 sq miles and home to 250,000 people who enjoy one of the highest literacy rates in the world, a low crime rate, lower taxation than the UK and a lower cost of living than the UK.

There are music, food, drink and cultural carnivals all year round that attract international attention. Every Friday just a few miles away there is a food and drink festival. There are a thriving local community and a vibrant expat community that enjoy the worlds best restaurants, nightlife, theatre and music. You'll get to soak it all in.

Your workplace will be laid back too, but there's still hard work to be done, they have the same standards and liabilities as they do in the UK. You'll have regular RIBA approved professional development courses to stay on top of, as well as jetting off for the AIA (Amercian Institute of Architects) annual conference to enjoy Seminars and courses.

The office celebrates often. When a project is awarded, when a project is completed, when you win an award, and for absolutely no reason whatsoever. That means drinks, restaurants, nightclubs, events and shows with your colleagues.

You'll be compensated to a similar level that you would in the UK. But you will also have the benefit of a company car (no taxation on that), all of your personal fuel paid for on a card (no taxation on that either) and Private Healthcare.

It's not like your work will bore you either. How does doing the front end design work on a 5000 - 20,000 sq ft James Bond Style Villa sound? How does managing Hospitality, Leisure, Commercial and High End resi schemes from concept to completion sound? You'll need to be an all rounder. That means working with the Technical team on the Detail and Construction drawings, that means creating visuals, that means sketching your own projects, taking briefs, running site meetings and handing over schemes.

The progression is there too. Your performance and salary will be reviewed twice annually. In a few years, you could be Junior Partner if that's the way you want to go with it.

Got some questions to ask? Thinking to do? Don't wait too long, the position will be closed before the end of September.
