We are a medium sized practice located in the heart of London, focused on commercial projects and delivering schemes in the UK & Europe for renowned clients.

An opportunity has arisen for someone to join us and take a lead role in delivering these projects.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years post Part 3 qualifications and experience of working on medium to large sized projects in the UK. Preferential consideration will be given to applicants who can demonstrate commercial and retail project experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a Job Runner/lead Architect for large retail projects from inception to completion
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors
  • Construction site attendance and production of progress schedules/inspection reports meeting minutes
  • Preparation of feasibility/design proposals
  • Prepare production information, review and agree construction information
  • Inspection reviews on build quality and contract compliance
  • Manage and coordinate internal project team
  • Review, comment and coordinate on subcontractors / specialist designer information

Required Skills & Experience

  • RIBA Part 3 qualified and registered with ARB – 5 years post qualification
  • Experienced user of CAD preferably AutoCad, relevant software packages and knowledge of Revit
  • High standard of design skills essential
  • Excellent technical knowledge of construction, ability to respond to technical issues arising on site
  • You need to be a great team player and motivator – you will be required to lead & mentor your team members
  • Highly organised and understand how to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Experienced with Consent processes – planning /building regulations/landlords etc
  • Excellent English, written and spoken
  • Good communicator with colleagues and team and able to inspire confidence in our clients
  • Ability to work under own initiative and be proactive in all aspects of your work
