The company brief:

This well-established practice specialise in various interesting projects throughout the UK; from bespoke residential dwellings to large residential schemes as well as education and commercial developments. They are particularly passionate about their high quality designs, working collaboratively with clients, to achieve their briefs, winning awards for some of their projects. Due to a range of new projects having been realised, they are now looking to take on an experienced Senior Architect / Architect, who is proficient in AutoCAD and has a broad range of experience.

Your new role:

As a Senior Architect / Architect, you will have the exciting opportunity to take on and manage your own projects from initial concept design all the way through to site. You will be working on a range of projects from a variety of sectors, handling them at all RIBA Stages. You should demonstrate great concept design and excellent attention to producing construction-detailed drawings, using AutoCAD and be adept at free-hand sketching too. As a Senior Architect / Architect, you will need to produce design and technical drawings and with good communication skills, liaise between parties.

About you:

• A Senior Architect / Architect with strong expertise in AutoCAD is essential to be considered for the role.
• Experience across various sectors and across all RIBA Stages is required for this role.
• A candidate with proven client-facing experience and working within the UK is required.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple jobs.
• Knowledgeable of the UK Planning, Building Regulations and UK-based contract administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Project-running Management experience.
• Self-directed and self-motivated.
• Enthusiasm to contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
