Architect / Senior Architect

The company brief:

This well-established practice specialise in various interesting projects throughout the UK, at the moment, focusing on commercial and mixed-use projects. They are particularly passionate about design, working collaboratively with clients, to achieve their briefs. They also offer a range of other services, including Project Management, Masterplanning and Interior Design. Due to a range of new projects having been realised, they are now looking to take on an experienced Senior Architect / Project Architect, who is proficient in AutoCAD.

Your new role:

As a Senior Architect / Project Architect, you will have an exciting opportunity to take on and manage your own residential and education projects, including a £30m residential development of around 200 units, a range of smaller-scale residential projects and a college development. You should demonstrate excellent attention to producing detailed drawings, using AutoCAD and be adept at free-hand sketching. As a Senior Architect / Project Architect, you will need to produce design and technical drawings, have the opportunity to work on projects from conception to completion and with good communication skills, liaise between parties.

About you:

• A Senior Architect / Project Architect with strong expertise in AutoCAD is essential to be considered for the role.
• A candidate with proven client-facing experience and working within the UK is required.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple jobs.
• Knowledgeable of the UK Planning, Building Regulations and UK-based contract administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Project-running Management experience.
• Self-directed and self-motivated.
• Enthusiasm to contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
