ARCHITECT/ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST

Hoopers Architects is an ambitious and growing practice with an exciting portfolio of work across the eastern region covering various sectors of work.

Description:

We are searching for a talented, enthusiastic and technically aware architect or architectural technologist to contribute to our fast growing list of design-led projects to work as part of a close knit team. Applicants must have a passion for design and sound construction knowledge to assist in the delivery of a wide range of exciting projects.

Ideally, candidates will have a minimum of 5 years experience working in the UK, with demonstrable design and communication skills, proven technical ability and CAD Skills.

Knowledge of Vectorworks, Photoshop, InDesign and good Model Making skills would be preferable. The majority of our appointments encompass RIBA Work Stages 0 through to 7. An appreciation of current UK Planning Policy and Building Regulations is essential. Candidates should have a good understanding of construction methods and materials and possess excellent standards of presentation for the preparation of Planning and Building Regulations applications as well as assisting in the preparation of tender documentation. Due to the rural location of many of our projects, a clean driving license and own transport are essential.

Applicants must be fluent in spoken and written English, with an immediate start preferred.
