The Practice:

Established over 30 years ago, Richard Reid and Associates is a small, friendly, award winning practice located in a rural studio on the edge of Sevenoaks, Kent.  RRA specialises in Architecture, Urban Design and Townscape and are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and organized qualified architect to join our team.

Role and Responsibilities:

The job will involve working on a variety of both local and international projects across all the RIBA work stages, with a particular focus on the design and delivery of technical drawings, specifications, and coordinated design documentation packages.  The role will involve liaising directly with clients, consultants, statutory authorities and other members of the construction team.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have a strong design sensibility.

Be able to demonstrate an ability to work through technical issues.

Be familiar with the UK building regulations and other relevant codes.

Have experience of contract administration and running a job whilst the project is on site.

Be friendly, confident and professional with excellent communication skills.

Have excellent graphic, design and technical skills.

Be ARB registered.

Hold a minimum 3 years’ experience post qualification.

Will be proficient in AutoCAD.

Have the ability to progress projects through all RIBA stages, often working with listed and historical buildings.
