Excellent opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technician/ Technologist to join an award winning and well renown practice in Newark!

My client has an urgent requirement for a Senior Architectural Technician/ Technologist to join their practice as part of the Retail team. You will be working on a variety of projects, delivering refurbishment/ extension and fit out projects across the whole of the UK.

With this role it is essential that you have working experience in Revit, as all projects are delivered in this. You will take a key role in managing the design process and delivering projects on site so job running experience is also essential.

Skills required for the role of Senior Architectural Technician/ Technologist:

• Contract Administration/job running experience is essential.
• Experience in the Retail Development sector is preferred.
• Working experience in Revit is essential and AutoCAD proficiency is desirable.
• Experience working and leading the technical aspects of a project team.
• Strong communication skills and a high standard portfolio.
• A sound experience of technical building design and Building Regulations both in terms of new build and refurbishment / fit out.
• Ability to work on a number of projects at any one time and manage their time and the team's time accordingly.

What you'll be doing whilst working as a Senior Architectural Technician/ Technologist:

• You will be working as an integral part of our retail team delivering refurbishment / extension and fit out projects across the UK.
• Working alongside our key client contact and taking a key role in managing the design process and delivering the projects on site.
• All projects are delivered in Revit, so experience is essential!
• You may potentially assist with other residential and commercial development projects.
• Travel to project sites around the UK. Driving license preferred.
