Architect

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and design focused, creative RIBA qualified Architect with minimum 7 years post Part III experience to work generally on individual private residential as well as commercial projects preferably covering work stages 5-8 as well as experience in overseeing works on site.  

3s Architects & Designers has been established in South West London since 2001, and has since built a strong reputation for their bespoke design of residential private & commercial projects, which culminated in a number of exposures on TV and in magazines and commendations including the International Property Award for best residential development UK in 2016 and best single residence in Greece in 2018.

Applicants should have experience as a project architect on a number of projects from inception to completion and a sound understanding of UK Planning and Building Regulations. The position requires an ability to meet tight deadlines and under certain budget restrictions, excellent writing and communication skills, needs to proof coordination and organizational skills, experience of project financial management and budgeting, strong technical expertise and knowledge of current construction methods as well as good design skills.

A record of involvement in contract administration on various JCT Contract forms would be desirable. We expect high proficiency in Vectorworks, preferably 3D software like Sketchup, good presentation skills as well as good interpersonal and management skills. The successful candidate should be in possession of a full UK driving licence.

The successful candidate will work on allocated projects as well as overseeing a junior team in the office with their work. We offer potential growth within the management structure as well as a company health scheme and pension package. Salary is negotiable.
