Architect/Part II Architectural Assistant/Technologist

Michael Lyons Architecture is an innovative design based RIBA Chartered Architectural practice located in a converted barn complex on the outskirts Salisbury. The practice undertakes a wide variety of work encompassing; residential, educational, commercial and historic building projects and has recently been commissioned on a number of exciting rural development schemes. 

We have a multi-disciplined team of designers with extensive experience, all who are committed to the successful realisation of client’s projects through the delivery of high quality design and professional approach. We work in an open-plan environment, sharing ideas and knowledge.

Due to a growing workload we are looking to expand our team and are looking for an Architect and a Part II Architectural Assistant or Technologist.

Architect
We require an architect with a high standard of design and construction experience who is able to independently run projects. You should be confident in producing high quality detailed designs and working drawings and capable of seeing projects realised on site. Opportunity exists for future progression within the practice. 

Part II Architectural Assistant/Technologist
We are also looking for a Part II Architectural Assistant or Technologist who is confident in producing high quality design and working drawings. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working within a supportive and experienced team allowing you to develop your skills and knowledge. 

Candidates should have the following

•    Proficiency in AutoCAD
•    Excellent written and spoken English
•    Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
•    An enthusiastic and positive approach
