Metropolitan Workshop is a practice of architects, urban planners and designers, founded in 2005 and based in Clerkenwell, London, with wide international experience of complex public and private sector projects.

Our studio has a track record of working collaboratively to deliver large scale complex urban projects in locations with sensitive contexts. We have a reputation for listening and being able to intervene across a wide range of building types.

The pervading influence on all our design work emerges from our analysis of the particular context. Our work gains its identity from the particular social, economic and historical context of the site and from the end users.

The aesthetic and character of each building is unique and derived from these rigorous analyses.
