Portess & Richardson is an award winning practice, established in 1938 and based in central Peterborough. With projects located across the country, we design for a wide range of sectors including healthcare, schools, residential, commercial, sports and leisure projects.
We are currently seeking a passionate, organised and enthusiastic Technical Architect, experienced Technician or experienced Architectural Assistant to join our team.
You will be directly involved in and responsible for all stages of architectural projects, Day to day duties would include assisting the director in designing and managing projects, playing a pivotal role in our client experience by running a project from measured survey through to planning approval / building regulations and completion, liaising with both, clients via phone and site visits to offer support.
Candidates must have good UK construction knowledge, must be proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and have a thorough understanding of current UK planning and building regulations. Must have at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role in the UK and be a driven self-starter with commercial awareness.

Salary negotiable depending on experience.
