Carey Jones Chapman Tolcher is seeking architects to join its team in its Leeds Studio

Role  - Project Architect

Carey Jones Chapman Tolcher are growing their Leeds Studio with a number of high profile projects across all stages .

We have an excellent opportunity for a positive, self-driven Project Architect  to join a friendly environment and a thriving, ambitious architecture team, who inspires professionalism, design quality and tenacity.

The position requires a motivated architect who can help the team deliver a growing portfolio of exciting and varied projects across many sectors, in particular office and residential.

To be based in our Leeds Studio the candidate must successfully coordinate and engage in design team interaction, communicate design ideas to a range of audiences and resolve construction challenges. The role involves both concept and detailed design and taking a project through to site, so experience in the later RIBA stages is essential.

Responsibilities + Skills

These will include, but are not limited to:

  • 3-5 years post qualification experience.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite software and Microsoft Office.
  • To act as the day-to-day contact/interface for projects
  • Work as part of an architectural team to successfully complete tasks/projects.
  • Excellent communication skills; collaboration with staff and external consultants
  • Demonstrate strong design sensitivity and practical project running ability
  • Responsible for project based delivery, producing information, document control, records filing and following QA/JQP and office procedures.
