Job Details
The Journal of Architecture is jointly published by the RIBA and Taylor & Francis. It was launched in 1995 and is the longest standing, continuously published, international, refereed publication on architecture based in the UK. It has become widely recognised as one of the foremost journals in its field.
We are seeking an Editor in Chief to lead and oversee the journal. The candidate should have a recognised international profile in architectural practice or academia. They should have proven leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively with individuals and stakeholders. Excellent written communication skills and experience in writing/and or editing a journal, as well as a knowledge of the context of research and scholarship in architecture, are a prerequisite.
Main responsibilities will include: editorial leadership, management of the editorial programme, oversight of the peer review process and coordination of the social media strategy.
